INTRODUCING          SKIN-DEEP'S KATINA

Katina joined our family at 2.5 years of age.  She originally was imported into Canada and later joined by her half sister Sage both of whom were bred by Marit Jennsen of Norway.  Sage escaped from her Canadian home and fearing for Katina's safety, she was sold and rehomed with me.  I am so fortunate to have this daughter of Simi av Holteheia who she tremendously resembles. She is a unique bloodline here in the USA helping to expand our genepool.

Katina arrived a little out of condition and soft of muscle. Being anxious to breed her if I could get her into shape, an expecise routine and excellent feed and supplements were begun.  She responded beautifully adding nearly 7 pds and her love of running resulted in rock hard muscling.  Having considered her faults, I chose to take her to Odinn.  Unfortunately, this would be a zero inbreeding co-efficient which would not be my choice a naiden pair,
